As a Maritime Operations Manager, your job will be to oversee the day-to-day organization and operations of ships. Your job will involve scheduling, preparing travel orders and following up with clients.
You will play a key role in the operational activities relating to the transportation of goods. This will include communicating the arrival and departure of ships and helping to prepare cargo loading timetables, among other tasks.
A fundamental part of your job is staying in contact with various industry players including ports, ships and their crews, Stevedores, Administrators and even Safety Officials.
