Also known as Helmsman, the wheelsman steers and directs the ship under the orders of the Watchkeeping Officer.
On the bridge, you will ensure that you stay on course and bring the crew and cargo to safe harbour. You will also participate in departure and docking operations.
As an experienced Seaman, you will be required to hold a Canadian Bridge Watch certificate and have successfully passed Transport Canada’s exam.
